- Launched and ran a nonprofit investigative newsroom that delivered results: a sheriff’s resignation, a $98-million contract canceled and a federal court order striking down the city’s redistricting map.
- Edited Led data-driven investigations into jailhouse deaths, redistricting abuses and public corruption, building datasets from scratch and uncovering connections—like shell companies, shady contracts and ethical red flags.
- Investigated and uncovered the Jacksonville sheriff's illegal residency, leading to his resignation.
- Exposed local racial gerrymandering that led to a federal court order.

- Conducted in-depth investigations into systemic criminal justice failures, including negligent jail policies and racial disparities in prosecution.
- Created a database tracking 30+ variables in drug convictions to expose inequities and profiled key figures behind disparities.
